Great news: Harry Stinson has sealed the deal for the Royal Connaught, and the project is now beginning!
The original idea of a 80 storey tower has been scaled back a bit, and will now be around 60 storeys in height–that’s still a solid 17 floors more than the tallest building in the city right now! This is an exciting time for Hamilton!
In other news, Steel Work Studios opened this week (April 1). I was at the grand opening, and much to my delight had a chance to speak briefly with Mayor Eisenberger. The facility is good–and will add a solid production venue to the growing list of Hamilton media facilities.
World Media Red is also hosting the first annual Hamilton 24 Hour Film Festival this May-June. Click Here for more details!
