Mr. Harry Stinson–the “Condo King” of Toronto has decided to put some faith in Hamilton.

He is currently working on raising the capital needed to purchase the former Royal Connought building on King St. for $9.5 million. His plan: to convert the property to hotel suites and condos before 2010. Shortly thereafter, Stinson plans to build at 70-80 floor condo tower on the same lot! The estimated total investment is over $300 million. This is what we need! Investment like this is drastic, revolutionary, and it makes a grand statement to the entire country: Hamilton is worth it.
So: write to your city councilors, encourage them to support the project! Also–if you know anyone with several million dollars to invest in such a project–I’m sure Harry would be grateful
